Where Are The Deer
Whitetailed deer eat a variety of foods, and agricultural crops are among their favorites, however, when acorns are available -- all bets are off as to their preferred food. Acorns are like ice cream to whitetails - providing them with crucial fat & protein sources to enable them to get through the tough winter months.
So, the bottom line: When the deer are not out in the crop or grass fields, check your oak timber where there are acorns! I bet you'll locate your whitetails!
Good hunting!
