Goose Hunting
The time is now to hunt Snow & Ross's Geese during this conservation action season on them in south-central Nebraska where there's adequate water conditions/levels, especially along the Platte River from Grand Island to Kearney. Ask any Snow/Ross's Goose hunter and they will tell you the key to success is to "hunt the wind." The higher the wind velocity, the better the hunting. A 55-60 degree cloudless sky day with a 25-30 mph wind can be an unbelievable day!
